"Dr. Alan Brown received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, and then completed medical school in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan. After two years of private practice in Washington as an orthopedic physician, Dr. Brown returned to the University of Michigan’s law school. During law school he continued to practice orthopedic surgery near Ann Arbor and in 1994, Dr. Brown served under Congressman Sander Levin as a Congressional Fellow in Washington D.C. working on healthcare reform.
