Hi! Thank you for visiting my page and learning a little bit about me. It is my utmost pleasure to meet with families and help create a beautiful labor and birth experience. Birth to me is a normal and natural process and should be respected as such. I think there is nothing wrong with the quietness or loudness of birth. Everyone creates their own beautiful labor song. I am a very laid back, approachable, attentive and an informative Doula. I was trained by Carrie Kenner at Big Belly Services in 2014 and later attended a Spinning Babies workshop in 2017, to add to my skill set. I am a certified with DONA (Birth Doula), AAP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AHA (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). I have worked in hospitals since 2009, as a medical assistant and a labor/delivery health unit coordinator. Working in these environments has helped me to assist in understanding the medical environment. I have also attended a number of out of hospital births as a Student Midwife since October 2016. I am experienced with pregnancy trauma, pregnancy loss/ stillbirth, rainbow babies, hospital birth, out of hospital birth and VBACs.
