Ourania B. Malliris, M.D.

"Ourania Malliris, MD joined Ballard Pediatrics in 1982 after completing her pediatric residency at Seattle Children's Hospital. Originally from the Chicago area, she traveled east to Boston to attend Radcliffe College and Harvard Medical School, graduating in 1978. She is a clinical professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington. Dr. Malliris is in the office 3 1/2 days a week, sharing her practice with Dr. Del Beccaro, and is interested in all aspects of pediatrics. She is fluent in Greek. Dr. Malliris lives in Wallingford with her husband, Dr. Scott Barnhart. Her daughter Katy and son Theodore are in their twenties and are both studying geology in graduate school. Although she is an avid gardener, vacations often take the entire family backpacking or skiing in the Olympics or Cascades"
