"Heather has been working in hematology/oncology since 2003 and is passionate about providing patient centered care that is both holistic and comprehensive. She cares for patients as if they were her own family and brings compassion to the exam room. She values patient partnerships and believes in empowering her patients to be active participants in their treatment course. Patient education is important to Heather and she wants all of her patients to feel informed about their diagnosis and treatment. She has experience working at the National Institutes of Health and believes that research is an important part of the cancer cure.
