Cornerstone Family Healthcare

Cornerstone Family Healthcare is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center with a mission to provide high quality, comprehensive, primary and preventative health care services in an environment of caring, dignity and respect to all people regardless of their ability to pay. For more than fifty years, Cornerstone has been responsive to meeting the needs of the communities in which we serve with a continued emphasis on the underserved and those without access to health care regardless of race, economic status, age, sex, sexual orientation or disability.

Cornerstone’s roots date back to 1967 when four AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers, led by a passionate and outspoken civil rights activist, established a small health clinic for migrant farm workers housed in the Black Dirt Region of Orange County. Like the produce migrant workers helped grow, the then Pine Island Migrant Family Health Clinic grew strong roots, and has since evolved into a mature, cutting-edge healthcare system now known as Cornerstone Family Healthcare.

Today, over six hundred employees provide care annually for more than 40,000 individuals and families. Cornerstone delivers services in Orange, Rockland, Ulster, Broome and Pike County in PA. In addition Cornerstone dispatches mobile health units and add mobile dentistry to their fleet in the coming months in 2018.
