Geoffrey A. Sandman, M.D.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Dr. Sandman received his medical degree from Wayne State University of Medicine, Detroit, MI. His five-year surgery residency program brought him to Grand Rapids. He left West Michigan to complete a one-year trauma fellowship at Orthopaedics Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN. Here, Dr. Sandman had the opportunity to treat drivers from Championship Auto Racing Team (CART) and the Indy Racing League (IRL). After practicing orthopedic medicine “in the fast lane,” Dr. Sandman returned to Grand Rapids in 2002, to join River Valley Orthopedics.
