Welcome To Our Practice


Family Care & Wellness is a family medicine practice in Allen, Texas, that provides compassionate care in a family environment for men, women, and children ages six and above. The practice is spearheaded by both Tariq Mallick, MD, and Zayba Hoda, PA-C.Dr. Mallick is a graduate of the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine, and Zayba is a certified health coach in addition to being a certified physician assistant. Together, they serve patients from Allen and surrounding towns that include Mckinney, Plano, Frisco, Parker, Lucas, Richardson, Murphy, and Melissa.

Family Care & Wellness takes a patient-centered approach to care and integrates evidence-based health care management with health coaching to optimize patient health and wellness. Unique to Family Care & Wellness is a certified health coach and provider who also has an interest in women’s health.

Dr. Mallick and Zayba value their relationships with patients and believe in forming partnerships with those they treat to provide the tools, guidance, and support required to promote health and prevent disease. In addition to allopathic medicine, both Dr. Mallick and Zayba are passionate believers of lifestyle medicine, the preventive powers of nutrition and a natural approach to prevention of disease and illness.  Family Care & Wellness is also part of the network of providers for Southwestern Health Resources, a collaboration of UT Southwestern and Texas Health Resources.

In addition to wellness and physical exams, the team at Family Care & Wellness encourages a nutritional approach to healthy living and management of chronic medical conditions, mental health, and musculoskeletal pain.  Family Care and Wellness offers hormone replacement and IV vitamin therapy to optimize health and wellness.  The practice also provides an affordable monthly healthcare membership program for those without health insurance, high deductible plans, and employer’s seeking coverage for their employees.

Family Care & Wellness is committed to providing the most up-to-date treatments and care to their patients. They maintain active membership in many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the Obesity Medicine Association, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the National Society of Health Coaches.
