Before he joined Globe Life Liberty National Division Life Insurance Company (LNL) in 2011, Austin Green was working part time at a grocery store while pursuing a nursing degree at Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City. However, when Globe Life Liberty National Division showed him a way to help people outside of healthcare, he was ready to explore that option.

“I wanted to be an Agency leader with Globe Life Liberty National Division to help other people grow and to offer them the same opportunities I’ve had. And I wanted the chance to share it with as many people as possible,” recalls Austin. “My compassion and empathy make me uniquely qualified for this role. My genuine caring nature and my desire to see others get what they want, while putting their needs before my own, helps me perpetuate this opportunity to new generations of leaders,” he adds.

“My greatest accomplishments with Globe Life Liberty National Division are those I’ve reached as a result of teamwork and collaboration. First and foremost, it’s being recognized as the Number One Regional Agency Director for 2018, while setting a new record that year for the RAD position,” states Austin. “But the most rewarding aspect of joining Globe Life Liberty National Division is helping to build successful careers for people, who never considered the insurance industry as an option. I believe my Agency offers this region the opportunity for individuals to rise above the circumstances into which they were born and create the life they choose for themselves and their families,” he stresses.

“LNL products help protect clients’ assets during the darkest, most emotional times of their lives,” continues Austin. “Most people don’t realize, no matter how dark these times are, they don’t have to be financially devastating. It’s not up to us to decide how our policyholders spend their money, but it is our responsibility to make sure they have the money to spend during these difficult times,” he adds,

What’s Austin’s advice to those considering a sales or leadership position with Globe Life Liberty National Division? “If you want something different from what most people have, you must do something different from what they do. I would have taken my potential more seriously in the beginning of my career, and I would have believed the people who believed in me sooner,” he states. “Believe in yourself, go after what you want, and if success with Globe Life Liberty National Division is what you want, I am here to help you get it,” he emphasizes.

Giving back to the community is essential for Austin and his team. “Something very close to my heart here in Atlanta, is supporting efforts to assist missing and exploited children. My Agency is currently working to raise money for National Missing and Exploited Children Awareness Month,” says Austin.

In his free time, Austin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, often exploring the greater- Atlanta area.
