Psychological Evaluation & Treatment Dr. Gerlach is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a member of The American Psychological Association, The Society of Personality Assessment, and The International Association of Trauma Professionals. In his 35 years of private practice, including a number of years consulting on psychiatric units of local hospitals, he has worked therapeutically with individuals (beginning at age 6) and family members with trauma and addiction issues. He has received advanced training in personality assessment and continues to receive such training as it pertains to trauma and addiction. His doctoral research was on the subject of addiction with an emphasis on alcoholism.
