South Alamo Medical Group - Clinic 301

The South Alamo Medical Group was founded in 1997 by Dr. Trevino and Dr. Ross, with the purpose of providing medical care to areas of San Antonio that lacked Primary Care Physicians.

Since then, South Alamo Medical Group has grown to seven offices. Our offices are located in the South, East, Northwest and Downtown of San Antonio. Presently the medical group has 25 physicians and physician extenders. The physicians and physician extenders are trained in Pediatrics, Family, Geriatrics, and Internal Medicine.

The philosophy of South Alamo Medical Group is to see every patient that walks in the front door, to practice preventative medicine, and to treat patients as if they were our own family. The care is very personalized, but the technology is the most advanced.

South Alamo Medical Group was one of the first clinics to implement electronic medical records in San Antonio. Electronic medical record allows doctors to have access to the entire patient medical information that is needed to make a diagnosis and provide immediate treatment.

South Alamo Medical Group is also a quality medical practice that has obtained a variety of renowned recognitions and certifications. For instance, the American Diabetes Association Education Recognition Certificate. Programs like ours that achieve Recognition status have a staff of knowledgeable health professionals who can provide participants with comprehensive information about diabetes management.
