Joseph S. Kim, DDS, is a general dentist with three convenient private practice offices in Santa Cruz, Mission District in San Francisco, and Fremont, California. Dr. Kim provides comprehensive dental procedures for patients starting at the age of three and into adulthood, with a personal touch.
Experienced in a wide range of dental areas and procedures, Dr. Kim offers holistic dental care to give patients the convenience of a one-stop-shop, including routine cleanings and exams using the Diagnodent Laser™ to detect cavities, a diode soft-tissue laser to treat gum disease, digital X-rays, wisdom teeth extraction, root canals, and periodontal surgery. Dr. Kim also offers braces and Invisalign®, CEREC® same-day dental crowns, and dentures.
Dr. Kim earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. He then completed his general practice residency at New York Methodist Hospital before starting his dental career at the Dental Implant & Oral Surgery Center in San Francisco. While there, he shared his knowledge and expertise with dental students as a clinical instructor at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry. He served as an attending doctor on the staff of the GPR program at the Native American Health Center in Oakland. Dr. Kim was affiliated with Bloss Memorial Healthcare District in Atwater, California. At this ambulatory surgery center, he provided dentistry for children under general anesthesia. 
Dr. Kim finished a two-year Orthodontics program at McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry to provide comprehensive orthodontics expertly and efficiently to all his patients.
