About EXIS Youth
EXIS Youth in Sawtelle, California, is a premier mental health practice focused on the unique needs of adolescents. Elena Bagourdi, PhD, and Polly Preventza, PhD, co-founded the practice to provide a multi-faceted and holistic approach to adolescent mental health services, incorporating evidence-based treatments with mindfulness and lifestyle adjustments. 
The team of experienced adolescent mental health providers is passionate about educating teens and helping them develop the skills they need to have a fulfilling and meaningful future. EXIS Youth provides a comprehensive range of services for teenagers, including personalized therapy for depression, anxiety, trauma, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). They also offer addiction counseling, including marijuana addiction treatment. 
The team at EXIS Youth also collaborates with schools throughout Los Angeles. They present addiction prevention courses to help teens learn and practice skills to cope with peer pressure, impulsiveness, and other issues that can lead to drug abuse and addiction. 
In addition to offering individual, group, and family therapy, EXIS Youth also provides time for patients to focus on their schoolwork. Education coordinators provide customized educational support programs to help patients both keep up with their educational goals and develop the study skills they need to thrive academically.
