At Almost Like Home, we are committed to providing quality Assisted Living in a residential setting to those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other types of cognitive impairments. We believe a smaller home-like setting is often the best solution for someone with increasing memory loss. This environment minimizes confusion and gives the resident a sense of familiarity. We excel in providing consistent on-site 24 hour care by a staff that receives extensive and continuous training on the challenges facing those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

To better serve our residents and their families, we regularly seek out new information on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia from leading research hospitals and medical professionals. The knowledge we gain is then incorporated into our care program. Our small setting in Arvada (close to Denver) allows our staff to know each resident personally and develop the best possible individualized care. Residents also experience a consistent daily routine of life that includes family-style dining, snacks, activities and the general flow of household activities. Holidays and our residents' birthdays are celebrated as an extended family and family members are encouraged to join us.
