William R. Martin, MD, is a board-certified radiologist at Upper Valley Interventional Radiology in McAllen, Texas. With more than four decades of experience in diverse aspects of radiology, he provides comprehensive diagnostic radiology, as well as interventional radiology for vascular disease and pain management.
Upper Valley Interventional Radiology is the leading MRI center in the Rio Grande Valley, where Dr. Martin and the professional team provide diagnostic MRIs, CT scans, ultrasound, echocardiography, and DEXA scans. They give each patient their personal attention and customized care in a safe, comfortable environment.

Dr. Martin graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah, then went on to complete his internship and residency training at Stanford University in Stanford, California. He’s affiliated with several hospitals, including Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas, and Starr County Memorial Hospital in Rio Grande City, Texas.
Dr. Martin serves as an active member of numerous health care teams, coordinating with other doctors in medical groups throughout the region. He accepts the Medicare-approved amount as payment in full.
