Dr. Ana Cecilia Belzarena Genovese, MD

Ana Cecilia Belzarena, M.D., is an orthopedic surgical oncologist with Miami Cancer Institute and a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute. She specializes in the surgical treatment of musculoskeletal tumors, including benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors; with a main interest in limb salvage procedures, and metastatic lesions. She also manages the orthopedic problems that can arise in oncologic patients, such as pathologic and atypical fractures, avascular necrosis and osteoporosis.

Additionally, Dr. Belzarena specializes in pediatric orthopedic surgery, specifically in fractures, limb abnormalities, hip and foot disorders, pediatric bone and soft tissue tumors and orthopedic care of cerebral palsy. Dr. Belzarena is actively involved in clinical research to increase the efficacy of treatments and improve patient outcomes.
