Florence Oni’s personal philosophy when it comes to treating patients is to do everything she can to assist them in reaching their treatment goals and promote their overall health and wellness.

Her areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders.
Florence attended Wichita State University for her undergraduate degree, and went on to receive her advanced degree from University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Prior to joining the Healthcare Associates of Texas family, Florence worked for the Missouri Department of Mental Health, community mental health settings, and a private practice setting for a Psychiatrist in Missouri.

She has 4 adult children and one grandson, and loves to spend time with her family when she’s not caring for patients. She loves to make people laugh, and keeps each day moving with humor.
