Since then cassona has been a staple in the Andersonville neighborhood serving the community by offering affordable and high quality furniture with a friendly staff dedicated to helping their customers with their expert advice in home décor. Cassona, which in Spanish means “large house” or “mansion,” has a long history of finding beautiful and affordable furniture and accessories for its customers. Alma started cassona, handpicking furniture and accessories from Mexico made by artisans with centuries old techniques such as rustic furniture, talavera, pewter, copper vases, tin mirrors, etc. Over time, Ms. Gutierrez widened cassona’s scope to include handpicked furniture and accessories from Peru, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and many other countries. Today, Cassona offers an array of styles from contemporary to traditional to multifunctional pieces ideal for an eclectic urban décor.
