I'm a full-time mom of three who used to be a full-time vascular surgeon and I used to think I needed permission to take care of myself.
But I didn't need permission. And neither do you.
What I needed was education. (Yup! Even though I'm an MD.)
I needed inspiration (from another high-performing career woman and mom to feel that it was possible because ... #workingmomlife.)
I needed communication. (How could my boss or my husband know I was dissatisfied if I didn't speak up?)
And I needed this self-care to be simple, accessible, and enjoyable. (I mean, seriously ... the last thing I needed was just one more check box on my to-do list.)
But I couldn't find what I needed! So, I created it.

Because I'm a loving mom AND an ambitious woman.

I'm both! And building a family while building a career is hard work! It takes some serious energy.
I need energy for my oh-so-full-life, and you do too!

Did you know your magnificent body makes energy? You don't just have energy.

And the most direct way to make energy is with the food you eat!
