Mattress Emporium

Mattress Emporium is locally owned and operated by Byers Enterprises which is Dave & Zach Byers who live locally and operate both Mattress Emporium and DC Music Store which are both located in the same shopping plaza in Calcutta Ohio on Route 170. Dave has extensive experience in the Mattress & furniture industry having owned and operated a 5 store chain in the 1990's which he closed so he could move his family back to Ohio. At that point he opened DC Music Store in 1998 and had a store since 2002 which is still in business serving the local community. Once DC Music needed to expand and move to a larger spot in the plaza Dave felt it was a fantastic spot for the Mattress Emporium store to re-open. Dave has no plans for a chain of stores this time as he feels it's best when he can personally oversee the one store and operate in the area that he lives and was raised in. His son Zach mainly operates the music store these days but you will see both of them working hard to ensure both stores are serving their customers as well as possible.
