David Fromm, M.D.

Dr. David Fromm is a General Surgeon at Monument Health Rapid City Clinic, 5th Street. He received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota’s Sanford School of Medicine in Vermillion, SD. Dr. Fromm completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. He specializes in robotic-assisted surgery, bariatrics and minimally-invasive procedures.

Dr. Fromm chose to specialize in General Surgery because of the variation and complexity of cases and an overall love for the art of surgery. He believes that the most rewarding part of his job is building relationships with patients and improving their overall quality of life. In his free time, Dr. Fromm enjoys spending time with his family and is excited to take up drumming, rock climbing and learning to barbecue.
