James Sawyer is committed to providing excellent legal representation to clients at reasonable cost with attention to detail and responsiveness to client communications. From the start of a client matter to its conclusion it is usual to have two attorneys and one non-attorney staff member fully familiar with the client’s matter, so that if one attorney is unavailable the other can be contacted. All client telephone calls are returned the same day, and copies of all significant documents exchanged with other attorneys are sent to clients. To avoid misunderstandings and in accordance with New York law, we ask clients to sign a written engagement letter detailing the fee arrangement. Our attorneys and non-attorney staff build strong client–law firm relationships that last beyond the conclusion of the client’s matter. We are committed to our clients and they are committed to us.
