About Dr. Jabeen
Seema Jabeen, MD, board-certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine, provides a wide range of primary care services for adults of all ages. Dr. Jabeen and her team provide patients with the knowledge and medical services needed to improve and maintain their overall health. Dr. Jabeen started her practice to emphasize prevention and healthy lifestyle habits as the foundation of good health.
Dr. Jabeen attended Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine. After completing her medical education, Dr. Jabeen completed her residency training at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Jabeen worked in Oklahoma for a few years as well as Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she was an assistant professor.
Dr. Jabeen uses medically supervised weight loss to help patients avoid many serious health concerns, including diabetes and heart disease. She has helped hundreds of patients successfully reach their weight loss goals and establish lasting healthy lifestyle habits. As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Jabeen provides effective diagnoses and treatment for common conditions like high blood pressure, asthma, allergies, and thyroid disorders.
Dr. Jabeen chose to open her practice in Sugarland to stay close to her family and fulfill the general health needs of the nearby community. Her goal is to make health care easy and accessible to her patients. Dr. Jabeen is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi so she can effectively serve a more diverse patient population.
Outside the office, Dr. Jabeen is a dedicated mother to her twins.
