Steven J. Eliades, MD, PhD

Steven Eliades MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at Penn Medicine.  He specializes in the medical and surgical management of diseases of the ear, including hearing loss, tinnitus, chronic ear infections, cholesteatomas, cochlear implants, eustachian tube dysfunction, dizziness and vertigo. 

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Eliades has a strong focus on basic and translational research in hearing sciences, including central brain mechanisms of hearing, cochlear implants, and the relationship between hearing and vocal communication.
