Anoop Thakur, MD

Dr. Thakur earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from Darbhanga Medical College in India. She completed her residency at the University of Tennessee and fellowships in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Tennessee and Wayne State University in Detroit. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with additional board certification in child and adolescent, and in adult psychiatry. Dr. Thakur has broad experience in treating childhood behavioral disorders and mood disorders. She joined the staff of Oaklawn in 1993.
