Better, Liskeard Leisure Centre (formerly Lux Park Leisure Centre) offers quality, affordable fitness facilities and leisure activities to help keep you active and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Following a refurbishment in June 2017, our Gym now holds 64 top the range Technogym equipment stations, alongside an extensive weekly programme of more than 25 fitness classes taking place in our professional studio such as Tai Chi, Circuits and Group Cycle.

We are proud to welcome Caradon Indoor Bowls Club to our Leisure Centre each week and our large, well equipped indoor bowls green is available for hire, along with Tennis and Squash courts, and a floodlit Astro-Turf pitch for Hockey or Football.

There are plenty of team sports taking place in our Sports Hall, such as Netball and Basketball, with Cricket training facilities available on request.

Take some time to relax and unwind in our Health Suite, complete with Spa Pool, Steam Room and Sauna, then treat yourself to something from the Cafe after your activity, which offers the perfect viewing area to watch the fun unfold in the 4 lane 25m swimming pool, with adjoining learner pool and fun flume.

Our successful and popular Better Swim School caters for children of all ages and abilities.
