Melissa has focused on Family Medicine throughout her career. She realizes that spending more time educating patients in the beginning of their relationship enhances the likelihood of long-term health and better clinical outcomes. Being part of the Healthcare Associates of Texas family provides Melissa with access to ancillary services and cutting-edge technologies helping her develop and deliver the best patient treatment plans.

Melissa graduated from Baylor University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and went on to receive a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Outside of work, Melissa loves running, traveling, scuba-diving, and spending time with her husband, twin boys and daughter.
