Troy Quigg

Troy Quigg, DO is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology / Oncology, and is part of the Pediatric Blood Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant team at Texas Transplant Institute.

Dr. Quigg graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Following his pediatrics residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Dr. Quigg completed a Master of Science degree in clinical research as well as dual fellowships in pediatric hematology/oncology/hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and clinical pharmacology.

Early in his pediatric training, Dr. Quigg was exposed to bone marrow transplantation. "I fell in love with it. I really liked the science behind bone marrow transplantation and the clinical acuity, intensity and critical care of these patients.

He belongs to a number of professional organizations including the Children's Oncology Group, American Society of Hematology, American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
