Dr. Sara Sharma

Dr. Sharma is originally from the Northern Virginia area and received her BS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine for her Doctorate and completed a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Jefferson- Kennedy University Hospital in Stratford, New Jersey. During her time in residency, she was accepted and presented three case studies of research on new and innovative rear foot and ankle reconstruction at national conferences. Dr. Sharma also participated in a mini fellowship in Alpharetta, Georgia with Bako Pathology for podiatric dermatopathology. Dr. Sharma is interested in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and podiatric dermatology.

Dr. Sharma is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Dr. Sharma is known for her compassion, understanding, and comprehensive experience for patients under her care. In her free time, Dr. Sharma enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and playing with her dog.
