Desert Hemp

Desert Hemp was founded in 2018 by Michael and Ashley Laca, residents of Fallon, Nevada. The idea began as an expansion within Michael’s row crop consulting business and quickly grew into more. We are committed to growing industrial hemp on a large, outdoor scale in 2018 under a Nevada Department of Agriculture State license. This opportunity has provided extensive hands on lessons and learning that one can only get by experience. A few highlights of the year were creating unique hemp genetics, learning the best performing varieties, ideal farming practices, storage of product, processing procedures of the hemp and more. What began as a consulting venture has now provided an opportunity to bring our brand full circle and offer a Desert Hemp retail line. We are proud to offer products that use hemp grown and processed here in the Silver State. ​Michael continues consulting full time while Ashley is working as the main contact for retail product information.
