Leonardo Longoria, MD, is an OB/GYN providing expert, caring women’s health services to women in El Paso, Texas, and the surrounding community at his practice, Longoria OBGYN. He uses his family medicine and OB/GYN background to diligently support the health needs of each of his patients. He has expertise in vaginal, abdominal, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery as well as comprehensive gynecology and obstetrics care including pregnancy support, menopause management, and vaginal revitalization.
The friendly, patient-centered staff welcomes women to the warm and inviting office located conveniently located in Northeast El Paso. The practice uses both conventional and state-of-the-art equipment, including the Icon® Laser system by Cynosure®. A graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, Dr. Longoria was honored with a Fifth Pathway Certification from New York Medical College, which gives him the ability to complete his supervised clinical work at a United States medical school. He went on to become a board-certified family medicine practitioner at Texas Tech University in El Paso.
Dr. Longoria completed a second residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. He received the Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology award through the AAGL — the leading association promoting minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He also received multiple awards in gynecologic endocrinology and infertility while at the University of South Alabama.
