Natalie Mahoney, MD

Natalie Mahoney, MD, is with Springfield Clinic’s Family Medicine Department seeing patients at Springfield Clinic Jacksonville. She joined Springfield Clinic in 2019. Dr. Mahoney earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. She then completed her family and community medicine residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. “I knew early in life that I wanted to be in the medical field. Originally, I wanted to be a veterinarian,” says Dr. Mahoney. “But with my mom being a nurse, and my uncle being a doctor, I realized in high school that I wanted to become a doctor.” Originally from Ashland, Dr. Mahoney is thrilled to be able to provide care near her hometown and build relationships with her patients. “I grew up knowing Jacksonville and then went to college here at Illinois College,” says Dr. Mahoney. “It has that small town feel while still having everything you need.” In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, riding horses, reading, watching sports (particularly the St. Louis Cardinals).
