Dr. Katie Jeans earned her undergraduate degree in 2009 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering, graduating cum laude. She completed her medical degree in 2013 at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine in 2016 at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston.
