Samantha Shira, MD

Dr. Samantha Shira is a Primary Care Physician who works in Culver City. She is board certified in Family Medicine. She cares for the whole family as well as the whole patient. She believes in the importance of patient education and empowering patients to make healthy choices. She has a special interest in Women’s Health, Bariatric and Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr. Shira is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her residency training at Family Medicine of Southwest Washington in Vancouver, Washington. Before joining UCLA Health, Dr. Shira worked in primary care for Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon.
In her free time, Dr. Shira enjoys dancing, crafting, and traveling.
