With locations in Asheville, Fletcher, and Brevard, Tapestry has helped hundreds of adolescents and adults address the core issues of their mental health disorders so that they can achieve long-lasting recovery. Tapestry is different from other eating disorder treatment centers in that they place a strong emphasis on life after treatment. It is important that patients learn meal planning and self-care skills so that they can continue the progress they’ve made after they’ve been discharged.
As eating disorders are often co-occurring with mental health disorder, the Tapestry team will take a holistic approach to care. An eating disorder cannot be successfully treated if there is an underlying anxiety disorder driving the behavior. Their goal is to help patients feel empowered to take care of themselves.
