Susan K. Boolbol, MD

Dr. Susan K. Boolbol, a board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist, currently serves as system chief of breast surgical oncology and breast program. She performs a variety of breast cancer surgery procedures including lumpectomies and mastectomies. Her interests include oncoplastic surgery and nipple-sparing mastectomy. Dr. Boolbol is one of a limited number of breast surgeons who teaches oncoplastic surgical techniques. She is a hidden scar certified surgeon. She is a nationally and internationally known breast surgeon and is a sought after speaker on a variety of topics relating to breast disease and breast surgery. Diagnosing and successfully treating breast cancer and breast disease is a personal mission for Dr. Boolbol. She aims to treat the whole patient and provide support through every step of their physical and emotional journey. She is on the board of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and is listed on America_x2019_s Top Surgeons and New York Times Super Docs. She participates in research trials and has several publications in medical journals.
