James Baird, MD

After earning his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, James Baird, MD remained there to complete his General Surgery internship and residency. Dr. Baird is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In his spare time, Dr. Baird enjoys spending time with his kids and running. He is an avid supporter of the Houston Texans and Astros. Dr. Baird's favorite book is “A Tale of Two Cities.” The historical figure he most admires is Abraham Lincoln. The charity he's most passionate about is the Hobby for the Performing Arts. His first car was a Ford Mustang and he rocks out to U2. As a youngster, he dreamed of being an archaeologist like the movie character Indiana Jones. If he could spend the day with any celebrity he'd like it to be Tina Fey. The best advice he's ever received is, "Never let anyone outwork you."​
