Zenith Care Group: Theo Akoh, NP

With over two decades in practice in the field of medicine, Theo Akoh, NP, has extensive experience caring for patients and helping them improve their health. Theo welcomes both new and existing patients to Zenith Care Group in Las Vegas. 
After earning his Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno, Theo was accepted into graduate school. He went on to complete his Master of Public Health through Walden University in Minneapolis. Theo also finished a Master of Science in Nursing in adult nurse practitioner from South University in Savannah, Georgia. He’s currently pursuing his Doctor of Public Health degree from Walden University.
Because Theo wants to be able to provide comprehensive preventive care and help his patients manage any health concerns they may have, he maintains multiple specialty credentials. Theo is a certified Suboxone® prescriber for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and even holds certifications in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and advanced cardiac life support through the American Heart Association. He also maintains professional relationships with the Academy of Integrative Pain Management and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, among others.
Throughout his career, Theo has worked extensively in acute care clinics, mental health facilities, and fast-paced hospital settings. Theo has helped countless patients who are undergoing dialysis and managing chronic conditions improve their health and learn to manage their illness.
At Zenith Care Group, not only does Theo provide personalized chronic disease management services, but he’s also dedicated to offering integrative women’s and men’s health care and helping patients achieve their optimal wellbeing. Between advanced pain management services, modern weight management plans, and customized intravenous (IV) hydration therapy, among other services, Theo is dedicated to ensuring his patients receive the holistic care they need to improve their quality of life. He even provides concierge medicine services.
Theo’s patients commend his compassionate and empathetic bedside manner. He enjoys engaging with his patients and spending quality time educating them about their health concerns and any necessary treatments. Theo is on-staff at several Las Vegas-area hospitals, so he can even help patients who need inpatient or more advanced care.
