Dr. Edidiong Kaminska
With her expertise in integrative dermatology that’s centered around medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatments, board-certified physician Edidiong Kaminska, MD, MBS, is known for helping patients of all ages and their families improve their skin health. Dr. Kaminska founded Kaminska Dermatology in Chicago to put patients first and provide expert multi-generational dermatological care.
After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Kaminska was accepted into graduate school. She earned her master’s degree from the University of South Carolina at Columbia, then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Kaminska then finished her dermatology residency training at the prestigious University of Chicago.
Continuing her education and training in an effort to provide the latest and most advanced treatments is important for Dr. Kaminska. She maintains her board certification with the American Board of Dermatology and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Kaminska is also a media expert and is passionate about educating the public about skin disorders.
Dr. Kaminska understands the unique challenges with which patients of diverse cultural backgrounds often struggle, including eczema, acne and acne scarring, keloids, and hyperpigmentation. Though Dr. Kaminska has special interests in medical and surgical dermatology, including the treatment of skin cancer, acne, rosacea, and psoriasis, to name a few, she also enjoys cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Kaminska can help patients achieve their aesthetic goals with noninvasive and minimally invasive treatments, such as Juvéderm® and Botox® injections, microneedling with SkinPen®, clinical-grade chemical peels, and more. She even provides innovative hair loss treatments with platelet-rich plasma injections.
