Meet Susan - Founder and Owner

Miss Susan Burke Martin has been a teacher for seventeen years and is a certified Special Education Teacher. She has taught preschool through high school with one thing remaining constant: her passion for kids. She took a short hiatus to open a Christian gift shop because she has always wanted to own a business. She missed her students too much and went back to teaching. Now she's deciding to combine her two dreams and open her own preschool!

Susan has been married to her husband, Dean, for 37 years and they have 6 kids together. She also has 7 grandchildren and a great-grandson. You'd think she'd be sick of kids by now, but not even close!

While Susan taught preschool, her students consistently showed the most improvement of all the other preschool classes, and she will help your children get the same head start on their academic career. Not only do her students love coming to class, but she instills a deep love of learning by truly making it fun.
