Dr. Slyngstad has clinical interest in a number of services including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, transaortic valve replacements, as well as evaluation and management of cardiovascular disease. He was attracted to cardiology for the immediate and dramatic impact that can be made to a patient's health.Patients should know that he likely shares many of their same values. Whether it’s faith, family, strong work ethic, or just enjoying the outdoors, heart health is central to maximizing these things. He believes in shared, informed decision-making."I want my patients to have a strong understanding of their heart condition and ensure a treatment plan is put in place that aligns with their goals."Originally from Three Forks, Montana, Dr. Slyngstad looks forward to returning to Big Sky country to raise a family, and practice medicine with the latest technologies. When not working he can probably be found fly-fishing.
