Brett Bowie, MD

Dr. Brett A. Bowie is a graduate of Auburn University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. He acquired a Master’s Degree in Education from the State University of West Georgia and earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Bowie completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Kentucky where he served as Chief Resident his last year. Dr. Bowie has 15 years of private practice experience centering on the quality of the physician-patient relationship. He provides complete obstetrical care beginning at conception and progressing to delivery including high risk pregnancies. Providing the best care with the best options in gynecologic surgery is a priority with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Bowie is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Prior to joining Piedmont OBGYN Newnan Professional Center 2, Dr. Bowie worked with Lagrange Women’s Health where he served as Chief of Obstetrics for 5 years. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Bowie coaches cross country, runs marathons, travels, and teaches Sunday school at his local church. Dr. Bowie is accepting new patients at both his Newnan and Lagrange offices and welcomes most major insurance plans.
