VeinPros: Don Gaede

Don H. Gaede, MD, is a varicose vein specialist at VeinPros in Fresno, California. With extensive training and years of experience practicing vascular medicine, Dr. Gaede is known as Fresno’s expert in treating vein issues. He specializes in reducing or eliminating varicose veins and spider veins with radiofrequency ablation and laser vein removal.
Dr. Gaede completed his Doctor of Medicine at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California, and an internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno. 
He then went on to complete a one-year fellowship in vascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where he gained expertise in the treatment of varicose veins, circulation problems, and blood clots. It was at the Cleveland Clinic that Dr. Gaede also became familiar with advanced techniques using ultrasound and sclerotherapy for varicose vein treatment.
Dr. Gaede is vice president of the Fresno-Madera Medical Society (FMMS), and a delegate of the California Medical Association. In addition, Dr. Gaede has published significant academic research and served as investigator for several international studies involving high blood pressure medication and the use of blood thinners for blood clots and high cholesterol treatment.
