As part of our commitment to care of the whole person – mind, body and spirit, Mission Hospital has developed After-School Program Intervention and Resiliency Education (ASPIRE®), designed to benefit teens who may lack positive coping skills to manage life stressors which often results in struggles with mental and emotional health, PTSD, mood disorders, eating disorders and ideas of suicide, and resort to unhealthy or unsafe behaviors such as substance use, self-injury and engagement with risky peers.
