Arora Pain Clinic: Ripu Arora, MD, MBA

Ripu Arora, MD, MBA, is a board-certified pain management anesthesiologist providing exceptional care for people living in Torrance, California, at Arora Pain Clinic. Dr Arora has been living in the South Bay area for 30 years and has raised two children with his dear wife Sheila Arora, who works as Physician Assistant in his clinic.
Dr Arora’s practice focuses on Interventional Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine. He specializes in identifying pain triggering mechanisms and targets the treatment towards it for best outcomes. He provides a multidisciplinary approach to help patients address their needs on physical and socio-psychological levels.
Dr. Arora studied for his medical degree in India before moving to England to undergo orthopedic and surgical training at hospitals in London and Manchester. He then came to the United States for further training in surgery in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Arora followed this with a residency in anesthesiology through Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2009, he graduated with honors, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of Irvine, California with a master of business administration (MBA) in health care.
Dr. Arora is on staff at Providence Hospital and Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Torrance and was Chief of Anesthesia and Pain Management at the Pacifica Community Hospital in Huntington Beach, California.
In addition, he has been very active in his national society as a life member of American Society of Interventional Pain physicians (ASIPP). He serves on the board of directors of California Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (CalSIPP). He attends several professional meetings to update his knowledge and skills, and constantly strives to learn about the latest procedures to help his patients.
He also has been serving on the Board of Directors for “Illumination Foundation “ , a non profit organization which helps end the cycle of homelessness in OC and LA county. He enjoys sports activities like golfing, skiing, scuba diving and flying. He is a proud grandpa and loves to travel with family and friends.
