I take more of a team approach when taking care of patients so that they will very much be part of the decision-making process in their care. Just don't be afraid to speak about how you are really feeling - I think sometimes patients feel like here has to be the right answer that they have to give the physician in terms of what they think the physician wants to hear. But I think being truly honest, open and the most authentic version of yourself is going to be able to help me know what the patient needs and help them.
