Facial Art Institute

Deanna Unsell, BS, RN, is a warm-hearted aesthetics specialty nurse at Facial Art Institute. She works at both locations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, alongside her husband Robert Unsell, MD. She forms a personal connection with each new patient and encourages open communication with them, even offering patients her personal phone number to contact her at any time with questions or concerns. 
Deanna earned her degree in nursing from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. Shortly after completing her education, she worked as a trauma nurse in the ICU of a major trauma center. There, she learned the valuable skill of working under pressure in life or death circumstances. She went on to work with veins, nerves, and other tiny organs that require fine and precise treatment strategies. She also has experience in surgery and recovery.
Although nursing is a passion of Deanna’s, she loves art just as much. She enjoys painting and has sold out several art shows of her own. Her love of art attracted her to the field of aesthetics where she could combine her artistic sensibilities with her technical knowledge of nursing science. Her aesthetics trainer was a world-renowned authority in cosmetic injectables like Botox® and dermal fillers, and she uses those skills every day at Facial Art Institute.
Beyond injectables, Deanna also offers microneedling, microchanneling, dermaplaning, the Perfect® Peel, and other skin rejuvenating treatments at Facial Art Institute. She consistently exceeds patients’ expectations with gorgeous results that look entirely natural.
Outside of helping patients optimize their appearances at Facial Art Institute, Deanna continues to enjoy painting. She is a mother of four and enjoys spending much of her free time with her husband and children in their home.
