Ohio native Heather Brooks is a lifelong learner and loves applying her knowledge to help patients. She believes in shared decision making and customizing care for each patient's unique set of circumstances and needs. Dr. Brooks was inspired to become a physician after being by her grandfather's side during his illness.“I admired the care my grandpa received. Despite being unable to cure him, his physician improved his quality of life and offered emotional support to my family."Dr. Brooks has a clinical interest in thyroid disorders, pituitary disorders and Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including insulin pumps and glucose monitors. When not serving patients, Dr. Brooks recharges with travel, family time and playing board and card games.
