Angela J Keleher, MD

With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Keleher provides specialized treatment for women diagnosed with breast cancer, performing all types of advanced, state-of-the-art breast surgeries.

As director of the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Division of Breast Surgery, Dr. Keleher leads a multidisciplinary team of experienced breast surgeons and patient navigators who collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, nurses, and other medical professionals to treat thousands of patients every year at locations throughout the greater Pittsburgh region.

Dr. Keleher received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Rockford and completed her general surgery residency at West Penn Hospital. She completed her clinical breast fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Dr. Keleher joins AHN from the Dyson Breast Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she served as Director of Breast Surgery and Director of the Dyson Breast Center. During her 10 years in New York, Dr. Keleher helped establish the Breast Center as a leading comprehensive resource that provides patients with every possible diagnostic and therapeutic option, from biopsy and surgery, to leading-edge treatments through clinical trials.

Prior to her role at the Dyson Breast Center, Dr. Keleher was Chief of Breast Surgical Oncology at AHN’s West Penn Hospital and assistant professor of surgery at Temple University School of Medicine.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Keleher is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Keleher has also been named one of the “Top Docs of the Hudson Valley” every year since 2011.

Dr. Keleher will be seeing patients and performing surgeries at Allegheny General and West Penn hospitals.
