Emily D Cottrell, MD

Dr. Cottrell is board-certified in both Psychiatry and Family Medicine. She provides outpatient psychiatric medication management for adolescent and adult primary care patients referred by their primary care providers at Green Tree, Pine Hollow, and Crafton Medical Associates.

She specializes in the assessment and short-term psychiatric stabilization of patients with depressive and anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, chronic pain, neurocognitive disorders and dementia, and ADHD in collaboration with behavioral health consultants and medical providers.

Dr. Cottrell also provides outpatient general medical care for patients of all ages one day per week. Her special clinical interests include integrating behavioral health treatment into primary care and other medical settings and psychiatric care for patients with complex medical needs.
