Katie A Hinzman, DO

Dr. Hinzman provides care and treatment for people suffering from a variety of psychiatric disorders. Her specialty areas include affective disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, binge eating disorders, and trauma-related disorders.

She utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including medication management, inclusion of dialectical behavior skills, and cognitive behavioral approaches as well as lifestyle and nutritional considerations to help her patients regain their psychological health.

Dr. Hinzman provides patient care from a patient-centered, empathetic, whole-person approach.

After earning her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida, Dr. Hinzman completed her psychiatric residency at Allegheny General Hospital.

She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Osteopathic Association, American Board of Obesity Medicine and Obesity.
